WHAT REIKI IS

 

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive practice that supports your body in coming back to a calmer, more regulated state.

It works with the body's energy system to promote deep relaxation, emotional release, and nervous system regulation. You do not need to fully understand it for it to work. In the same way that you do not need to understand the science of sleep for rest to restore you, Reiki works through your body's own capacity to settle and heal when it is given the right conditions.

Sessions are gentle and non-invasive. You remain fully clothed. There is no pressure, no pain, and no requirement to believe in anything specific. Many of the women I work with come in skeptical and leave feeling a shift they were not expecting.

WHAT A SESSION FEELS LIKE
 

Most people describe Reiki as deeply restful.
 

During a session, you may notice warmth, a sense of heaviness or lightness in your body, emotional release, or simply a quieting of the mental noise that has been running in the background. Some people drift into a state between waking and sleep. Some notice very little during the session and feel the shift in the hours or days afterward.
 

There is no right way to experience it. Your body receives what it needs.
 

Sessions are available in person in the Bay Area and by distance for women anywhere.

WHO REIKI IS FOR

Reiki is particularly supportive for women who are:

  • Navigating burnout or chronic exhaustion

  • Living with chronic illness or ongoing physical stress

  • Carrying emotional heaviness that is hard to put into words

  • Going through a life transition and feeling unmoored

  • Experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, or an inability to fully rest

  • Wanting nervous system support without talk therapy

You do not need a diagnosis. You do not need to be in crisis. You simply need to be a body that is carrying more than it can comfortably hold, which is most of us, most of the time.

HOW I USE REIKI IN MY WORK

​

Reiki is one of the foundational tools I bring into everything I do, both in standalone healing sessions and woven into my coaching work.

​

I am a Reiki Master trained in traditional Usui Reiki, Holy Fire Reiki, and Karuna Reiki. I have been practicing for over a decade and have worked with more than 3,000 women using energy healing as part of a broader approach to burnout recovery, nervous system support, and life direction.

​

What makes my approach different is that I do not offer Reiki in isolation. I understand how it connects to your nervous system, your emotional patterns, and your capacity to think clearly and move forward. When your body finally gets to rest at that level, everything else becomes more possible.

WHAT PEOPLE OFTEN WONDER ABOUT REIKI

Do I need to believe in Reiki for it to work?

No. Your belief is not required. Reiki works with your body's nervous system and its natural ability to regulate and restore itself. Many of my most skeptical clients have had the most profound experiences.

 

Is Reiki safe?

Yes. Reiki is completely gentle and non-invasive. It is used as a complementary support alongside medical care, therapy, and other wellness practices. It does not replace medical treatment.

What is the difference between in-person and distance Reiki?

In a distance session, you are in your own home, in a comfortable position, while I hold the session from my space. Energy is not limited by physical proximity. Distance sessions are equally effective, and many clients actually find them easier to fully receive because they are in their own environment.

How many sessions will I need?

That depends entirely on you and what you are working through. A single session can be meaningful and you will feel a shift. Ongoing sessions create a deeper and more sustained change in your nervous system over time. We can talk through what makes sense for your situation.

Can Reiki help with chronic illness?

Reiki supports the nervous system and promotes deep relaxation, which can be genuinely helpful for people navigating chronic illness. It is not a cure and it does not replace medical care, but many people with chronic conditions find that regular Reiki helps them feel more regulated, less depleted, and more able to cope with what their body is carrying.
